Hospitality doesn’t have to look the same for every family or for every season of life. For far too long, I chose to stay away from seeking ways to show hospitality because I couldn’t do it the same as everyone else.
Just because your house in under construction, or your children are going through an impossible phase, or your husband works odd hours, or you struggle with being social, that doesn’t mean you can’t reach out to others. It doesn’t mean you can’t be intentional about building up the body of Christ.
This lesson in hospitality is something I’m learning very slowly. I am so thankful that God didn’t leave me to be content in my own little bubble. He has been stretching me and growing me in the way I view hospitality.
